Fostering Innovation and Collaboration

MixMatters recently participated in a significant EU event held in Namur, Belgium, under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The event aimed to foster transnational collaborations within the agri-food and innovative environment ecosystems across the EU. It provided a valuable platform for industry leaders and stakeholders to explore strategic innovation initiatives in Wallonia, promoting promising partnerships.

During the event, MixMatters engaged in discussions and networking sessions alongside operators from the European S3 partnership on Ingredients for a Circular Economy partnership (I4CE) and esteemed EU-funded projects such as Biotech4Food, B-Resilient, and F2F. The focus was on critical themes like the double transition, bio-based ingredients, and internationalisation strategies, aligning with MixMatters’ commitment to advancing sustainable practices and fostering international collaborations for addressing global challenges in these sectors.

MixMatters’ participation highlighted its expertise in innovative solutions and its dedication to contributing to the EU’s sustainability and innovation goals. The event’s success underscored the collective efforts towards driving forward-thinking solutions and shaping a more sustainable future for the agri-food and environmental sectors within the EU and beyond.

The project is supported by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) and its members – Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC).
